Who can attend the Convention?
Any Registered Liberal who has registered and paid the applicable fee may attend the Convention. In order to vote for any elected positions, you must be registered as a Liberal at least 14 days prior to the Convention (i.e. November 2, 2018).
Observers may pay and attend but will not be permitted to vote or attend breakout sessions.
When and where is the LPC(BC)’s 2018 Convention?
The Convention will take place from November 16 to 18, 2018 at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort – 1310 Water Street, Kelowna (BC) V1Y 9P3.
Do I have to register in advance to attend?
Anyone who would like to attend the Convention should register in advance to avoid long line-ups on site. Registration for the Convention is now open. In order to vote on policies and for any elected positions, you must be registered as a Liberal at least 14 days prior to the Convention (i.e. November 2, 2018).
Can I register onsite?
On-site registration will open on Friday, November 16 at 4:00 PM. Please bring photo identification, your registration email confirmation and payment. It is strongly recommended that you pre-register, and if applicable, take advantage of special early-bird discounts!
What are the registration fees?

*To qualify for the Youth convention rate, the registrant must be under 26 years old on the start date of convention.
How do I pay for my registration fee?
Registration fees must be paid either from an individual’s own personal funds, by an Electoral District Association, or from funds raised through eligible third parties. We cannot accept cash payments, or payments from corporations. If registering onsite, then you can pay by credit card or debit.

How do I qualify to vote?
In order to for any elected positions, you must be registered as a Liberal at least 14 days prior to the Convention (i.e. November 2, 2018). Ballots will be issued only for offices for which you are entitled to vote.
All eligible voters must provide identification meeting the requirements prescribed by the National Returning Officer or provide the identification required and have their address vouched for in accordance with the vouching procedures established by the National returning Officer.
